The Canino School of Engineering Technology seeks a faculty member to staff a new Mechatronics program. Specialty areas of interest include, but not limited to, manufacturing processes, instrumentation and control, robotics, electrical circuits, digital systems, mechanical and or electrical design. The intended appointment is at the Assistant Professor (other ranks considered). The successful candidate will be expected to develop the new Mechatronics program and assist in growing enrollment. The faculty is encouraged to be an innovator within their discipline. There is an expectation to perform applied scholarly activities on technological problems as related to their profession and society. Participate in undergraduate instruction in the areas of technical competence; participate in faculty governance; participate in department, university, professional, and public service; and participate with an industry leader advisory board.
