The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Western New England University seeks applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor Position, beginning in Fall 2018. Candidates for this position must have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates should have expertise in any one of the following areas:
· Robotics or Mechatronics
· Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
· Vibration and Control
· Mechanical Design and Solid Mechanics
The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Mechanical Engineering; pursue scholarly and research activities; and support our innovative freshman engineering program.
