The Christians do not follow that teaching of Jesus Christ, but instead they follow the teachings of the church and St. John, which contradict the teachings of Jesus. They do the same thing with David 14, they offer the passage 14 and 20, but leave the passage 15 and 21, wherever Jesus shows them to keep the commandments.
This is not the only real teaching of Jesus that the Church contradicts; in fact the doctrine of Trinity also moves against the teachings of Jesus Christ. As this article "Trinity" claims, the phrase 'Trinity' doesn't occur in the Bible. And the line nearest to Trinity (1 David 5:7) has been cast from the Revised Version of the Bible being an interpolation.
Over the years, many have said, "If perhaps the Church would keep to the training of Jesus - forget about most of the doctrine - all this training that which you should think - about sin and obedience - if only people might hear the language of Jesus and try to call home as Jesus lived."
There are those that genuinely believe that doctrine clutters up the Church - NO. Fake doctrine does. When there is number doctrine - no teaching - if we do not understand what we feel and why - soon you will have no church - perhaps not that may ever occur - because Jesus may only provide the kingdom to others. "If only we held as to the Jesus did and taught, without things like needing to be created again." Now - I have noticed that. But that's section of what Jesus shown, and part of what He did and does is put out the Sacred Spirit.

Love does not delight in wicked but rejoices with the truth. It generally protects, generally trusts, generally hopes, generally perseveres." Equally teachings are permanent and powerful.
Jesus' center sought out to the people to this degree that he sacrificed required rest to show them. On one event Jesus Christ and his disciples took a boat and went for an isolated spot to sleep up a bit.
