On April 26, 2017, the American University of Sharjah, UAE will be hosting a "Mechatronics between Academia and Industry" workshop, focused on the changes, needs, and trends of mechatronics education.
Given the unique needs that academic institutions have to address in this area, the workshop aims to engage representatives of industry and academia in discussing their challenges with mechatronics, as well as priorities and best practices to shape the future of this multidisciplinary field.
